Carolyn originally trained as a nursery nurse. Her passion for children and young people has led her into a number of roles, both in secular employment and in the church. She has led youth groups, undertaken children’s work and taught hard to place pupils and college students.
For many years she oversaw the activities of the 3-5's at One Event, the national conference formerly known as Grapevine. Currently, she works as an Education Welfare Officer with the local authority.
Carolyn was a founder member of the BSCT trust and was instrumental in appointing the first BSCT worker. She took some time away from the trust pursuing other activities but has recently been re-appointed as a trustee. Her desire is to see the trust fulfilling the vision that brought it to birth in the first place in order for it to make a difference in the lives of those children and young people it touches.
